I need to give my 3yr old German Shepherd female dog Ziva a Trifexis every month.
First I tried a pill sleeve. She ate the sleeve.
Then I tried to put it in her kibbles. She left the tablet.
The I powdered the tablet and mixed in kibbles. She was leaving half of it.
Then I tried to mix it with bits of beef jerky bought at Costco, She needed 2 attempts to finish it.
I added it in her favourite veggie carrot. That helped. I realized that she loves the fish oil capsule.
So, I mixed trifexis powder, bits of beef jerky, thin slices of carrots, broke the fish oil and hand mixed it. Bingo, she ate it up in 20 seconds!
